Microarray Assay Project

This innovative project is being conducted in collaboration with IAVI and the Canadian African Prevention Trials Network (CAPTN). This study is investigating a novel method of tracking immune responses to vaccine using the microarray assay which looks at the genes that are involved in the body's immune responses which will help scientists to understand the immune responses associated with protection. This method for monitoring the immune response may in the future be applied to investigational vaccine to evaluate their modes of action.
